Donald Trump: Media "Distorting Democracy"; Record Low Approval Rating "Is Not Bad"

Donald Trump: Media

Asked about Trump's performance as president, half of the respondents answered that he is doing a worse job than previous presidents.

US President Donald Trump denounced a new poll Sunday that indicates he has a lower approval rating than any of his predecessors at the six-month mark in 70 years.

"The ABC/Washington Post Poll, even though nearly 40% is not bad at this time, was just about the most inaccurate poll around election time!"

Buffeted by the Russian Federation probe, perception of a declining world role and a stalled domestic agenda, US President Donald Trump's approval rating has hit a new low, according to a new poll.

More Americans are critical of President Donald Trump's leadership qualities than they are of his policies, a Gallup survey released Monday says.

Sixty-three percent of Americans polled thought Donald Trump Jr.'s June 2016 meeting with a Kremlin-linked lawyer was inappropriate, according to ABC News.

According to a new poll by Bloomberg, 58 percent of Americans believe that they are moving closer to where they hope to be financially and in their career, whereas only 27 percent believe the opposite- the lowest percentage in the five years that this survey has been conducted.

Apart from sustaining cuts to the face and being visibly shaken, the victim is said to be fine and thankful for the help. The victim was walking on a side road off Chelsea's fashionable King's Road when he was targeted on Friday evening.

Narrowing in on Trump's negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, 19% said they trust Trump to handle such talks, while 48% said they do not trust Trump in that regard. Meanwhile, only 37 percent of respondents said that the Democratic Party stood for something, while 52 percent said it was only standing against Trump.

Not only is Trump stunningly unpopular, but his support has already been reduced to base levels, and the bad news for this White House is that there is plenty of room for him to drop.

Sixty percent said they believe that Russian Federation influence the 2016 presidential election. They point out that since 1945 no president has had a negative net approval rating at this stage in their presidency, except Gerald Ford on -6%, a score still significantly higher than Trump's rating today.

How does Trump's approval rating compare to other presidents?

The poll shows that only 36% of Americans polled approve of the beginning of Trump's tenure as president of the United States.

The Post-ABC poll was conducted July 10-13 among a random national sample of 1,001 adults reached on cellular and landline phones.
