Joe Hart to undergo medical ahead of West Ham move

Joe Hart to undergo medical ahead of West Ham move

It looks like Hart will still officially be a Manchester City player, however, after it emerged that he will join Slaven Bilic's side on a season-long loan deal.

The England global has been looking for a new club after they signed goalkeeper Ederson from Benfica for £34.7m which all but ended his Etihad career.

It is anticipated City will fund part of Hart's wages and the agreement will include an option for West Ham to buy the 30-year-old.

Hart, 30, still has a contract with City until 2019 but has seen Guardiola sign Claudio Bravo and the Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson from Benfica since his arrival as manager past year.

But as news breaks on Sunday that the keeper's move to the London Stadium is imminent, many may be asking if Hart is any better than current West Ham stopper Adrian.

"I've known Joe for a long time, we played for England U21s together years ago", Noble told Sky Sports News HQ.

"In my opinion, he [Hart] has been a little bit hard done by in recent years".

It was a very mixed last season for Hart at Torino with his spell at the club littered with gaffes and much-publicised errors. We have got two really good goalies [Adrian and Darren Randolph] here so it would be more competition for them.

West Ham have already signed Argentina defender Pablo Zabaleta from Manchester City.
