Naz Baloch of PTI joins PPP

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf's (PTI) Naz Baloch has joined Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) by saying PTI is a "male chauvinist" party.

The new entrant to the PPP said that she had spent good time with Tehreek-e-Insaf but now she had chose to part ways with her parent political party as the PTI had deviated from its manifesto and objectives.

Naz Baloch said, "It feels as if Iam back home".

She said whenever PTI chief came to Karachi for five or six hour long visit, the party workers was kept away from the party workers by the local leadership. Naz Baloch said that she had actively worked for the PTI as she had remained active for managing social media wings of the party.

She however said that she did not have any ill will against Imran Khan and continued to respect him. "It is only party policies and its direction that I am against and is the main reason of my decision to quit the party", she further said. "Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the PPP, was a true leader of the youth", she added. She requested Imran Khan to listen to the complaints of disgruntled workers so that what was left of the party in Sindh remains intact. "Everything I have done has been for Pakistan", she told a questioner. She ran for election to the national assembly from Karachi's Constituency NA-240 in May 2013.

When the striker went to have a second go, more objects were thrown, including a glass Buckfast bottle which went just past his shoulder.

Naz Baloch was of the view that she was happy on joining the PPP.

She said that PTI's organisational structure in Karachi and Sindh has been damaged, as it appears that the PTI was playing musical chairs with only four people who have been consistently appointed president of Karachi and Sindh on a rotation basis.

On the occasion, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said Naz Baloch and her father had started off their political career under the guidance of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and added "Baloch's re-joining the party will strengthen the party's Karachi chapter". "Women do not have the same access or representation in the decision-making committee", she said.

She said that she would continue doing the same under the leadership of the PPP.
