New portrait released to mark Prince George's 4th birthday

Britain's Prince William and his wife, Kate, have released a portrait to mark the fourth birthday on Saturday of their son, Prince George.

Kensington Palace tweeted the photo of the glowing prince, writing that his parents are "delighted" to share his new portrait.

Prince George, meanwhile, also in his go-to outfit consisting of a button down, shorts, dark socks and his Start-rite laceups, was thrilled to check out a helicopter.

The sweet picture of the princess was taken by her mother, a keen photographer, at their home in rural Norfolk, Anmer Hall. In the past, Kate has released personal photos of the children, including ones of George captured in November 2014 ahead of Christmas.

The royal family wrapped up their 5-day tour of Poland and Germany today.

With Stephen Strasburg set to face Robbie Ray in the pitching matchup, the over/under now sits at 8.5 runs. Washington rookie Adrian Sanchez grounded into a force play with the bases loaded for his first career RBI.

As the tour ended, it was George's younger sister, Princess Charlotte, who misbehaved - falling over and apparently throwing a small tantrum as the royal party competed their final engagement in Germany.

Princess Charlotte didn't have quite as much fun checking out the helicopters after losing her footing on the tarmac.

Following a stunning cornflower blue arrival (and matchy-matchy ensembles with the whole brood) in Berlin on Wednesday, July 19, Duchess Kate, 35, ditched her Catherine Walker coat for a red maxi dress.

The treat for the children came as their parent's five-day tour of Poland and Germany came to an end with a visit to aircraft manufacturer Airbus's sprawling plant in Hamburg.

But it turns out Kate does actually emanate the occasional sign of being a mere mortal, and this is particularly true when she travels.
