Well, next month is lining up to be a cracker, with the under-appreciated Just Cause 3 arriving free of charge, along with the Assassin's Creed: Black Flag standalone experience, Freedom Cry.

For PS3 players, Motherload and Snakeball will become available. There are free games available for the PS3 and the PS Vita as well.

Sony has today revealed the free PlayStation games that will be made available during August 27 the members of their PlayStation Plus subscription service.

For the PS4, there are two other games that are available for free download, Game Spot reports.

Failure to download the game for the specified month means purchasing them at their regular rates. For the July fair, players could get access to Telltale's Game of Thrones: A Telltale Series Season 1 for the PS4, along with Until Dawn.

Markov, Canadiens officially part ways
The Canadiens signalled Markov's departure this week with the signing of 39-year-old free agent defenceman Mark Streit . Montreal drafted the Russian 162nd overall in 1998 and he made his National Hockey League debut two years later.

Playstation have released details of the PlayStation Plus titles coming to gamers this August.

Also included this month for the PS3 is the four-player co-op mining game Super Motherload, and Snakeball, a 3D remake of the classic arcade title Snake.

Downwell is a roguelike action platformer where players have to descend down a well and survive as long as they can by shooting enemies with the playable character's gun boots.

Aside from the monthly free games available, members are also entitled to a "member only" discount from Sony's new games as well as even more massive discounts on triple "A" games of up to 80 percent off.

There are three offers in the PS Plus subscription, giving more options to players who wish to only try the membership for a very short period.
