Prince George 4th Birthday Celebrated With New Official Portrait

With German onlookers cheering the royal couple everywhere they showed up, they also practiced shaping pretzels at a British-German market in downtown Heidelberg, tried a local vintner's wine and made sugar canes, the German news agency dpa reported.

It took almost their entire five-day goodwill trip through Poland and Germany, but the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge finally found the cure for agrumpy Prince George on Friday.

Charlotte made her second appearance of the family's five-day royal trip on Wednesday alongside her older brother, George, who gave a little salute but appeared exhausted, rubbing his eyes in the bright sunshine.

As Kate, William, Prince George, and Charlotte walked on the runway before boarding their flight to the United Kingdom, the little princess went to grab a bunch of papers from her mom's hand, but the Duchess quickly pulled them away.

Kate and William travelled to Poland and Germany as part of a five-day tour to help maintain the UK's relations with Europe as it quits the EU.
