Michael Carrick expects Premier League title challenge from Manchester United

Manchester United's transfer business is "75 percent" complete but the club is still looking for a winger, manager Jose Mourinho said ahead of their Premier League opener against West Ham on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho admits Manchester United could still sign one more player, but he will not be "crying" if they do not.

"For large spells of last season, we felt we should have been higher up in the league than we were and performances certainly warranted that for large periods as well".

"There is no relation between others or a guarantee because I always do, but I just think naturally a manger in the second season knows the club and players better".

The arrivals of defender Victor Lindelof, midfielder Nemanja Matic and striker Romelu Lukaku have also improved the squad.

"For me and obviously we all watch a lot of football but I think the Premier League can be brutal, physically, a lot of games". The Arsenal manager should have left after winning the FA Cup at the end of last season. How long does it take a top player at each club to buy the typical house in that city, and how does the average fan compare?

"It's not just hope it's convinced that the quality of the team will be better, I have conditions to deliver a better one than the first".

From the physical side of it, I think La Liga is not the Premier League in terms of the physicality.

North Korea says 3.5mn volunteers 'ready to retaliate against US'
North Korea has previously mobilized large crowds to show its resolve when tensions escalate. Russia, however, said that the missiles were intermediate range.

"What that now does is if [Kylian] Mbappe leaves [Monaco] and goes to another club, I would guess the fee might have been £90m or £100m".

"We have had a better pre-season than previous year and we have the confidence levels of a team that has won a European competition and returned to the Champions League".

Having finished seven points behind Chelsea, Spurs have yet to make a single signing, and Walker's sale to City and a season playing their home games at Wembley adds to Pochettino's problems.

Moreover, there have been recently constant reports suggesting Bale's departure from the Spanish capital, amid links to the Premier League giants.

"We need to improve because we ended up a distance away from the top".

"But they are for wonderful players, so good luck to them if they can do that".

"The league is special because it is such a tough division to win", Carrick - the last remaining member of 2008 continental champions - said.

"Going forward, I don't think that there is anyone who can match us because we have so many attacking options and great players".
