Facebook Messenger to Introduce a Tinder-esque Feature To Help You Socialize

The beta test, in Toronto and New Zealand, sent out notifications to Facebook users asking them if they would be interested in meeting up with a specific friend. The new feature connects existing friends together if they both want to do the same activity together and puts them in touch via the company's Messenger platform. In fact, Jacob Dubé could not help but compare this new feature, that we will call "Meet Up " (" to see " or "meet " in English), to Tinder".

- Jacob Dubé at Motherboard noticed something odd on his Facebook app this week. Now it looks like it's Tinder's turn. The feature is very similar to Tinder, but Tinder only connects people who are already friends with each other. It wasn't really made clear when this new feature will arrive to everyone on Facebook, but users should keep an eye out as it appears to be on its way. According to Mashable, the new feature on Instagram will allow users to share a story on Instagram and Facebook at the same time.

In addition, Facebook is also testing colored comments on its website. The request, if acceded to from the other side, will then make a connection between the two.

Thanks to Facebook's drive to come up with new features, many of its apps are the most popular among users.
