Ahead of BJP's mega event, Rahul Gandhi visits Amethi today

Speaking in his home constituency Amethi, Gandhi said, "Rahul says if Modi can not address main issues concerning farmers and youth, he should say so; Cong will come and do it in six months".

Speaking to reporters here, Surjewala said Gandhi is "democratic enough" and the party "resilient enough" to welcome any of its workers or leaders who wish to contest any post, including that of the president.

In a bold and rather ambitious claim, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and NDA BJP government, on Wednesday, asserting that they should leave the seat of power if they can't address the issues concerning farmers and the youth. The reorganisation of the party is being done to help Rahul focus on the crucial 2019 Lok Sabha election.

"Unfortunately, Sonia madam has become a little unhealthy Therefore, the Congress people wanted a leader to lead the party". Rahul Gandhi is not a willing politician but the party needs a strong, good leadership.

Yet, returning college students aren't achieving the same pace of completions as their freshman counterparts, colleges say. Students and parents attending the event will have the opportunity learn about the financial aid process at Penn State.

Asked about the Congress not performing well in most of the elections held after the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Lal Thanhawla said the Congress had faced anti-incumbency as it had ruled at the Centre for many years.

"Rahul Gandhi continues to remain the unquestioned choice of every Congress leader and worker for becoming the President of the party", he said. On the other hand, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has made it clear that talks on alliance can proceed after seat-sharing arrangement is finalised.

If Rahul Gandhi indeed manages to bring parties like the AAP under the united Opposition umbrella, it can help him silence critics who have questioned his skills at forging alliances after the Bihar disaster. "And they have supported these type of leaders", he had said.
