Demi Lovato Explores Her Struggles in 'Simply Complicated' Documentary Trailer

"I was not easy to work with", Demi admits in the revealing trailer. "I went on a bender for like, two months". It was this that led the people around her to think she was on a "road to suicide".

It's safe to say that Demi Lovato is not holding back in her upcoming documentary, Simply Complicated.

Thankfully, today Demi has been five years sober, but that doesn't mean she didn't have "anxiety" about filming.

From the opening seconds, it's clear to see that Demi is going to be brutally honest during the documentary, similarly to the material on her latest album, Tell Me You Love Me.

As the friends continued to watch the Camp Rock footage, Matthew notes, "You're a good actress", to which Lovato quips: "Thanks, I wasn't acting much".
