Jose Mourinho opens up about his plans in the January transfer window

Jose Mourinho is confident Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be available for Manchester United before the end of the year.

Ibrahimovic was released at the end of his one-year contract over the summer after sustaining significant knee ligament damage during a Europa League quarter-final tie against Anderlecht in April, but was later re-signed on another 12-month deal after continuing to use the club's facilities to aid his rehabilitation.

Ibrahimovic underwent knee surgery in April and has stunned club medical staff with his progress.

Ibrahimovic, who's now recovering from a cruciate ligament injury he sustained at the backend of last season, is ahead of schedule and Mourinho feels he can count on him in 2017.

However, the Manchester United manager is still unsure when Paul Pogba will return despite talk of him playing against Swansea in the EFL Cup next week.

"Zlatan is working under our control here as I would expect".

Wilenchik explained there is legal precedence that says the judge has to vacate the rulings in the case because it was pardoned. Arpaio had been convicted of criminal contempt for ignoring a judge's order to stop racial profiling policies, The Hill noted.

"Yes is true I wanted four players and I think clearly everybody knows the position, maybe you know the player, didn't happen but we adapt to it and try the best we can".

However, the Portuguese is hoping Ibrahimovic, who scored 28 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions for United last season, could be back sooner.

He said: "Paul is not here. Yes I do. But it is just a feeling".

Mourinho revealed that he has the same pool of available players to pick from this weekend as he did for Wednesday night's Champions League win over Benfica, meaning that Phil Jones and Marcus Rashford will both be fit to feature. "I think he will definitely bring something to the football team, as we already know", Cole commented.

And he speaking to MUTV, he says United fans can expect a Christmas present in the form of a 6ft 5 inch forward. "And yes in answer to your question, nobody is back from injury but what we have is good".
