Kate Winslet says she 'never fancied' Leonardo DiCaprio

Kate Winslet will be reunited with director James Cameron for the Avatar sequels. In 2009, he did it again with Avatar, and has seemingly spent every waking moment since then working on the latter's sequel, even as fan enthusiasm perhaps waned over the years - but we're actually getting excited, because Academy Award-winning Titanic star Kate Winslet is joining Avatar 2. It's not known how numerous four planned sequels she will feature in.

They've been friends for years; their chemistry is palpable; and their steamy Model-T backseat Titanic scene was definitely top three of all time.

20th Century Fox opens Avatar 2 on December 18, 2020. That record stood until Cameron knocked it out with another one of his films, Avatar.

Ride sharing services Uber and Lyft are also helping the effort, offering free rides to and from nearby hospitals and blood banks. Donors are encouraged to schedule a donation appointment by calling 877-UBS-HERO (877-827-4376) or by visiting bloodhero.com.

Kiwi actor Cliff Curtis also has a major role in the films, as does young Shortland Street star Duane Evans Jr.

Details on the plot are still under lock and key, however, the sequels will further bring the world of Pandora to life and expand Cameron's vision they explore new locations on the planet not seen in the first film. "Avatar 3" will come out in 2021, followed by "Avatar 4" in 2024, and "Avatar 5" in 2025. Nevertheless, its historic feat has resulted in the announcement of not one, not two, but four full-blown sequels, beginning with the launch of Avatar 2 in December of 2020.
