Netflix's She's Gotta Have It Official Trailer

Netflix's She's Gotta Have It Official Trailer

In this new age, Nola will consider her three lovers, and their place in her life: Greer Childs (Cleo Anthony), Jamie Overstreet (Lyriq Bent), and Mars Blackmon (Anthony Ramos).

Director Spike Lee burst on to the American film scene in 1986 with She's Gotta Have It.

The outspoken film director, who most recently made headlines for mistakenly congratulating blackballed National Football League quarterback Colin Kaepernick on signing with the Seattle Seahawks (which, unfortunately, didn't really happen), will direct all ten episodes, which will officially "air" on Thanksgiving Day. Greene neighborhoods of Brooklyn, the series also features Nola's therapist played by Heather Headley and her friends: Clorinda Bradford played by Margot Bingham (Barbershop 3), Shemekka Epps played by Chyna Layne (Precious), and Rachel played by Elise Hudson.

Trump Nominates Kirstjen Nielsen To Head Homeland Security
The White House says President Donald Trump will nominate Kirstjen Nielsen to serve as his next secretary of Homeland Security. Though the White House confirmed her nomination, the president gave an on-camera announcement Thursday afternoon.

Let us know what you think of the series and the trailer in the comments. Nola is now - she is outspoken, complicated, progressive, unapologetic, passionate, sexual. Lee is on board to direct all 10 episodes of the series. Tonya Lewis Lee is Executive Producer.

It opens with footage of Lee's introduction as seen in the original movie's trailer (with the word show seamlessly dubbed over the word film), before kicking off into Nola's world, rendered in lush color rather than black and white. The new She's Gotta Have It is his first TV series.
