The goosebumps moment when Mohamed Salah sends Egypt to the World Cup

Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi has rewarded members of the Egyptian football national team with the sum of $85,000 for qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russian Federation.

Egypt have not appeared at a World Cup since 1990 but Salah's 95th minute penalty against Congo sparked wild scenes of celebration at the final whistle as they booked a spot at Russian Federation.

A 2-1 win over Congo Brazzaville saw them qualify for the global showpiece for the first time since 1990.

Al-Sisi had special praise for match-winner Mohamed Salah, who scored a penalty in injury time to secure the qualification. "We realised a long-awaited dream", said Salah. I'm proud I made the Egyptians happy by scoring today twice against Congo.

Saudi buys Russia's S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems
The S-400 is a very capable missile-defense system, somewhat comparable to the US's MIM-104 Patriot, according to CSIS. Saudi Arabia's neighbours, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, have also been supplied THAAD systems.

"I am proud of all the players but especially of Mo Salah who was fearless enough to take the crucial penalty".

Egypt will now finish top of Group E, making sure of its place at the World Cup with a game to spare against Ghana next month. "God almighty will make us victorious, go, hooligans!" was one of the football chants of Al Ahly's supporters that spurred on people during the uprising.

"I want to thank the fans, the ones who were in the stadium and everyone in every part of Egypt". Almost 29 per cent of Egyptians live below the poverty line with more than 49 per cent of Egyptians in Upper Egypt unable to access basic necessities, including food.
