Thor Ragnarok SHOCK: Chris Hemsworth 'I was BORED of playing Thor'

Marvel has had some trouble when it comes to standalone Hulk movies. And with that film sending Hulk off on his own, it looks as if the character's appearance in Thor 3 will help kick off a new trilogy for the Jade Giant. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger-the Incredible Hulk.

While that's definitely disappointing, it seems like Marvel is trying to make up for it a bit by giving the Hulk an increased presence in the MCU going forward - and that'll all begin in Ragnarok.

According to Mark Ruffalo, Ragnarok is the first chapter in a Hulk trilogy that will run into the two coming Avengers movies, as CinemaBlend are reporting. Why don't we do that in the next three movies, starting with Thor 3 and then we go into Avengers 3 and 4.' And I was like, 'That sounds great!' And so we are at the beginning of this arc.
