Tottenham Hotspur's Danny Rose 'would turn down Chelsea for Manchester United'

Tottenham Hotspur's Danny Rose 'would turn down Chelsea for Manchester United'

It is understood that the defender has his eyes set on a move to Old Trafford before the World Cup in Russian Federation in the upcoming summer as he wants to play under Mourinho as soon as possible.

Rose has yet to play this season as he continues to recover from serious injury but reports are rife suggesting the left-back could be heading for the exit door when the January transfer window opens.

United value Rose at around £45m and are hopeful of concluding a deal for the full-back before the World Cup.

A source said: "The lure of United is too strong for him and if he had the choice he would pick United hands down". But after five months of rehabilitation he returned to first-team training this week and is understood to be feeling good.

Thor Ragnarok SHOCK: Chris Hemsworth 'I was BORED of playing Thor'
The 34-year-old Aussie has been playing the Asgardian prince for the last six years across five movies. So he has the same syntax, he has the same world view, and so it was fun.

According to the Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has made his mind up over a move to Manchester United.

Rose was strongly linked with a move during the summer after publicly criticising Tottenham's transfer policy while he also admitted he would consider a move in order to earn a more competitive salary and win trophies. Already this season four different players have operated in the role-Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian, Daley Blind and Luke Shaw.

Mourinho has had a problem in the left-back position since he took charge and reckons Rose is the ideal solution.

But Mourinho knows the addition of Rose, with his lightening speed and attacking threat going forward, would be a huge asset to his side. It is easy to see why United want Rose.

Rose, 27, is nearly certain to be included in Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad provided he remains fit for the rest of the season.
