Watch the 'sweet moment' when this Utah girl learned she's getting adopted

The news of a little girl finding out that her and her siblings had officially been adopted was captured on video and has gone viral.

The school's office manager Jackie Alexander told the girl on behalf of her new mom, Jennifer Fisher.

This happened October 2 in Utah, where student Tannah Butterfield was told the news of her adoption while at school.

When she learned her adoption was official, Tannah jumped into Alexander's arms and didn't let go.

Alexander shared the video on Instagram, writing, "This is pure testament that in a world full of turmoil and strife, there is still light and joy to be found in little everyday moments". She just held me tight.

"I said, 'You get your forever family, honey, '" Alexander told local news station KSL.

Alexander also writes that she knows the family and has watched them fight to adopt three foster children that attend the school where she works. In 12 years at this job, this is by far my best moment ever!

Alexander, an employee at American Heritage of South Jordan in Utah, said she's known Tannah, a sixth-grade student, for almost two years.

"They are just caring, loving, they take really good care of me", said Butterfield. "My heart was so happy".

Tannah had her own message.
