The Falcons lost starting running back Devonta Freeman early in Sunday's game against the Cowboys. While most believed it was a hit from Cowboys linebacker Anthony Hitchens that caused the concussion, Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis has a different theory.

Freeman, 25, leads the Falcons in rushing with 515 yards and five touchdowns on 116 carries. He needed 15 days to fully clear the league's concussion protocol during the preseason.
