Flipkart Billion Capture+ Smartphone With Dual Cameras to Launch on November 15

The company confirmed that the products are manufactured in India with solid Flipkart assurance infrastructure. From the name, it looks to be a camera phone. The e-commerce retailer has launched a dedicated teaser page which exposes some of the core features of the smartphone.

Now, the company has announced the Billion Capture+ in the Indian market starting from Rs. 10,999.

Media reports quoted Flipkart Billion category head Hrishikesh Thite as saying that the smartphone will be priced at Rs 10,999 for the 32 GB model, and at Rs 12,999 for the 64 GB model.

The Billion Capture+ will be available in two color options - Mystic Black and Desert Gold. There are a couple of introductory offers as well such as No Cost EMI, discounts on various debit/credit cards and more. Flipkart's website already has a banner live for the upcoming launch and it will be unveiled on November 15. The smartphone is designed using a premium body with edges to provide adequate grip coupled with Full HD display. The display is further protected with a 2.5D Dragontrail glass protection on top. Otherwise, this smartphone comes with the usual features such as a 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone has two sensors of 13MP, and one sensor functions as RGB sensor and the other one is a monochrome sensor to capture more details in the images. Well, it packs a dual camera as well. The back camera is capable of capturing pictures in several modes including. It will be interesting to see that super night mode does. It also comes with 8 MP front camera. Flipkart claims that the battery will last for up to two days at a single charge. As claimed by Flipkart, this smartphone can get up to 7 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of plugging in the charger.

Flipkart's entry to smartphone business is its first step towards launching a range of products under the Billion brand. Flipkart used data-driven research and insights into what specifications Indian customers wanted while putting together the smartphone. Few true dual camera phones offer this combination of flagship features. "There's a limited bandwidth that we have", said co-founder Sachin Bansal.
