Kevin Hart, Big Sean Voice Support for Meek Mill Rally

Meek Mill was arrested twice this year, once for his involvement in a fight and the other for reckless endangerment after riding his dirt bike without a helmet. He not only has a bright future but also a unique opportunity to inspire young men at a time when others are tearing them down.

Colin Kaepernick who was declared GQ Magazines' "Citizen of the Year", on Monday, took to social media to speak out in support to rapper Meek Mill who was sentenced to two-to-four years in prison for violating parole. I would hate to see him incarcerated for these violations.

Addressing the crowd, Ross said that they aren't just protesting Meek's sentence but they are drawing attention to the justice system that they feel has been unfair to Americans. "I truly believe that such a sentence would destroy his future". Rick Ross got on the microphone to share his feelings about Meek's case and the overall state of the criminal justice system.

The Philadelphia Eagles' Malcolm Jenkins and NBA Hall of Famer Julius Erving are expected to attend the rally, according to local TV station WTXF.

Fellow proud Philadelphians, The Roots star Black Thought and funnyman Kevin Hart, also commented on the rally via Twitter.

If the interview was meant to end the rumors that Hariri is being coerced by Saudi Arabia, it didn't exactly work. He pleaded with the interviewer to finish the questioning and said he was "tired".

Demonstrators take to the streets outside of Philadelphia's Criminal Justice Center Monday evening, rallying for imprisoned rapper Meek Mill.

Last week, a petition asking Pennsylvania governor Tom Wolfe to reevaluate his sentencing was started and rappers including Jay-Z criticized the sentence as well, calling it "unjust and heavy handed".

The rapper's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, says he plans to file a motion to have Brinkley removed from the case.

The letter, obtained by Sports Illustrated's The Crossover, includes Rubin's impassioned plea to Judge Genece E. Brinkley before Mill's sentencing.
