LeBron James, Cavs teammates take NY subway from shootaround

James said Monday was his first time riding the subway in NY.

Although the Knicks may have a better record than the 6-7 Cavaliers, vengeance is a motivating factor that can often offset other imbalances.

It's unclear what train the Cavs were getting on at the 34th Street-Penn Station stop.

"On our way back from shootaround. chose to take a different transportation this time", James says in the Uninterrupted video.

"On our way back from shootaround", James said during the commute. "We chose to hop on the train with the squad".

Belgium's Interior Minister Jan Jambon spoke against the incidents, tweeting that they were part of an unacceptable aggression. In Belgium, where there is a large Moroccan community, the celebrations began right after the win.

"Where we at, Kyle?"

"We're on a train", Korver replied.

The reason the Cavs chose to take the train rather than the bus was a traffic jam caused their buses to shootaround to be late and it was going to take 45 minutes to get back that way, or less than 10 by the train.

"The Knicks passed on a really good one, and Dallas got the diamond in the rough", said James after the Cavaliers defeated Smith's Dallas Mavericks on Saturday evening, according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

Monday night's game, which will be televised by Fox Sports Ohio and The MSG Networks, is scheduled to tip at 7:30 p.m. inside the famed Madison Square Garden. In fact, the Cavs have won seven straight games in front of the NY faithful, and they'll likely be looking to build on that impressive stat.
