Meghan Markle officially won't be returning to 'Suits'

Meghan Markle, left, who plays Rachel Zane, and Patrick J. Adams, who plays Mike Ross are reportedly likely to leave USA's "Suits" after Season 7, whose final six episodes will air in 2018. But if Adams and Markle end up leaving, original series regulars Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter), Sarah Rafferty (Donna Paulsen), and Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt) are expected to headline the series in Season 8.

Meanwhile it's always been thought that Meghan Markle will leave the show at the end of the season.

The source also said that there will be a wedding between Mike and Rachel in the second half of season 7 and that "will make it an easy break for Meghan to leave as well". Ummm, wtf. It won't be the same show without them!

Markle, meanwhile, has been rumored to leave the series since it was revealed that she's dating Prince Harry in 2016. She is taking Mike actor Patrick J Adams along.

Rumours have growing steadily for months that 36-year-old, who has played a paralegal-turned-lawyer Rachel Zane on the popular series since 2011, will quit the show to move to the United Kingdom and announce her engagement to Prince Harry.

Both actors' contracts conclude after season seven. "She loved being on the show, and we loved having her on the show, that's why we're doing the spin-off".

"Suits" creator and showrunner Aaron Korsh is also in the midst of shepherding a planted "Suits" spinoff revolving around the character played by actress Gina Torres, who left the series during its sixth season. "I'm going to let what happens happens and hope it all works out".
