Rose McGowan turns self in on felony drug warrant in Virginia

Actress Rose McGowan was arrested on a felony cocaine possession charge in Virginia on Tuesday, authorities said.

Rose McGowan was released from custody Tuesday after turning herself in for a drug possession charge. We'll update as more information is made available.

McGowan turned herself in at the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office after a warrant was issued February 1 by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department, authorities confirmed. She was arrested, booked and released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

Last month, she claimed the arrest warrant obtained by Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department had been part of an attempt to silence her.
