USA directly supports IS terrorists in Syria - Russian Defense Ministry

An image circulated by the Russian military Tuesday purportedly showing "irrefutable evidence" of us forces assisting Islamic State terrorists was actually taken from a 2015 video game.

"The Russian Defense Ministry is investigating its civil service employee who erroneously attached wrong photo illustrations to its statement on interaction between the US-led global coalition and Islamic State militants near Abu Kamal, Syria", the ministry said. The Russian military "has twice approached the central command of the US-led coalition and suggested joint strikes to destroy the retreating IS forces on the east shore of Euphrates". "Americans peremptorily rejected to conduct airstrikes over the ISIS terrorists on the pretext of the fact that, according to their information, militants are yielding themselves prisoners to them and now are subject to the provisions of the Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War", the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The posts included several aerial images supposedly backing Russia's claim, including one labeled: "ISIS automobile convoy leaves Abu Kamal for Syrian-Iraqi border (November 9th, 2017)".

In order to ensure "safe passage for the retreating IS forces" the coalition jets "were trying to interfere with Russian fighter jets which were active in the region" said the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The songs are brought to us by La La Land's Academy Award winning composing team, made up of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul . The second trailer for the movie was released Monday evening (IST).

The ministry is investigating its civil employee who attached a wrong photo to illustrate the ministry's statement on Abu Kamal.

According to the Defense Ministry, the United States provided cover for Islamic State militants to use them in attempts to attain its own aims in the Middle East.

Moscow also accused the U.S. of a plot to create a "pro-American" region on the Euphrates which would continue to oppose the Syrian government. The tweet says that "the ministry of defence shows irrefutable evidence that USA are actually covering ISIS combat units to recover their combat capabilities, redeploy, and use them to promote American Interests in the Middle East".

"I would say the Russian Ministry of Defense statements are about as accurate as their air campaign".
