Dead & Company Postpone Remainder of Fall Tour

That's the good news.

"John Mayer is recovering from the emergency appendectomy he underwent yesterday and is in good spirits", according to a news release from Scoop Marketing issued on December 6. Again, the CT native is fine.

In a previous Dead & Company tweet, the band assured fans that "All tickets for the December 5 show will be honored for the rescheduled date". The group features Mayer alongside original Grateful Dead members Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, as well as Allman Brothers' bassist Oteil Burbridge and Fare Thee Well and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. In the meantime, ticketholders can visit or connect with them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram in order to make other arrangements. The new date will be announced as soon as possible, according to Amway Center officials. Refunds are also available.
