Harvey Weinstein used agents and journalists to carry out his abuse

The expansive investigation is full of stunning revelations, including allegations from Lena Dunham that she warned Hillary Clinton's aides about Weinstein during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Actresses Uzo Aduba, Julia Roberts and Lena Dunham appear on stage during the Hillary Victory Fund - Stronger Together concert, a fundraiser in New York City reportedly organized by Harvey Weinstein.

"I just want you to let you know that Harvey's a rapist and this is going to come out at some point", Dunham said she told Kristina Schake, the Clinton campaign's deputy communications director.

Dunham also says she warned Adrienne Elrod, a spokeswoman for Clinton who associated with celebrities during the campaign.

"We were shocked when we learned what he'd done", Nick Merrill, Clinton's communications director, told the Times.

Weinstein, who prominently advocated for Clinton's presidential bid by holding fundraisers and other public events, is now being investigated for multiple claims of sexual assault and rape.

So in March previous year, Ms. Dunham, a vocal Clinton supporter, said she warned the campaign. Pecker is also good friends with President Donald Trump, and both Weinstein and Trump were known in the tabloid industry as untouchable "F.O.P's", the Times said.

6 Women Filed A Lawsuit Against Harvey Weinstein

The Times report included an excerpt from an email Brown sent to a member of "Clinton's inner circle". Weinstein has consistently said that none of his encounters with women involved "non-consensual sex".

"Ms. Rehal said she had to keep a supply of the shots at her desk, dispense them to him in brown paper bags and sometimes deliver the medication to hotels and elsewhere before his meetings with women", reported the worldwide daily.

The Times reports that it saw documents that show the model rejecting attempts to be paid for her story.

The Clinton campaign denies ever being warned.

Weinstein's career in Hollywood was destroyed after reports came forward accusing him of intimidating, sexually harassing and abusing women for decades.

According to the New York Times, the "Iron Man" actress has slammed the disgraced studio mogul for using false claims as an "assault weapon" after hearing he tried to coerce aspiring starlets into sleeping with him by repeatedly boasting they had been intimate.
