Matt Lauer's intensely creepy interview with Sandra Bullock has resurfaced

Before the bombshell allegations of sexual misconduct that led to Matt Lauer's firing from the Today show by NBC, he and former co-host Savannah Guthrie had grown close professionally in their five years of working together.

Vieira didn't remember the segment but sex therapist Dr. Laura Berman recently revealed that he was telling the truth.

Meanwhile, Lauer's ex-wife, Nancy Alspaugh, who was married to Lauer from 1981 to 1988, only had good things to say about the embattled newsman when ET spoke with her last week.

In her interview with Inside Edition, Berman told her different version of how the sex toys wound up in Lauer's possession. "He asked me about sexual aids and devices".

Berman's remarks follow a resurfaced video which shows former Today Show host Meredith Vieira confronting Lauer about the bag of sex toys she found in his office while he was a guest on "The Meredith Vieira Show" in 2016. According to paperwork first obtained by the National Enquirer, in the filing, Roque accused Lauer of "cruel and inhumane acts", reportedly also claiming that Lauer was controlling about "even the smallest decisions", and alleging that he showed "extreme anger and hostility" towards her.

The Gujarat government issued instructions to district magistrates, asking them to take adequate precautionary measures. The Indian navy rescued 20 of the missing fishermen , the Press Trust of India reported, but more are missing.

Lauer was sacked on November 29 amid allegations that he engaged in sexual misconduct at work.

"I'm sort of crestfallen if any of those toys were used to harass any colleagues or any women", Berman said. The Daily Mail and Page Six said she filed for divorce after learning that Lauer was having an affair.

Lauer was spotted still wearing his wedding ring as he finally ventured out of his Hamptons compound to take his 11-year-old son Thjis to school on Monday.

"They play happy families at their Hamptons home on weekends, and then she lets him run off to NY to do "Today" - and goodness knows what else", an anonymous source told RadarOnline in September, notes PageSix.

"There are no words to express my sorrow and regret for the pain I have caused others by words and actions", he said. "He is in fact a ... very doting dad to his kids, but he is also a bad husband". "To the people I have hurt, I am truly sorry".
