Police investigate burglary at R. Kelly's Atlanta homes

According to WSB TV in Atlanta, Johns Creek Police were called to the home on Old Homestead Trail on Sunday, Nov. 26.

TMZ reports that both of R. Kelly's Atlanta homes were cleaned out by burglars while the singer was on tour in New Orleans over Thanksgiving weekend. They told police they were hired by Alfonso Walker, one of R. Kelly's associates, to sell everything inside the home because he planned on permanently moving to Chicago. He has been charged with burglary, theft by taking and theft by deception. Completely wiped clean, almost everything was taken including furniture, electronics and other property, TMZ reports.

Authorities now believe it's likely that Walker sold the times in Kelly's house room by room (Byers says his department was able to get in touch with at least one buyer who paid $6,000 for the stuff in Kelly's bedroom). However, Kelly's team told cops Walker was just a part-time employee.

Snow and ice warning issued as temperatures plunge
Donegal is set for a cold snap with wintry showers, snow and freezing temperatures which will continue into next week. The warning, for counties Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal , Longford, Leitrim , Mayo and Sligo, came into effect at 4pm.

There's no current estimate of how much was taken from the homes because police are still waiting on that information from Kelly, but the individuals who bought items are listed as victims in the police report since they purchased them without knowing they were stolen.

He was told he had to turn himself into police on Tuesday but didn't end up doing so which has ultimately led to a warrant for his arrest.
