Apple runs out of iPhone 6 Plus batteries, delays swaps to March

The latest development is said to have made the Cupertino company incapable of offering iPhone 6 Plus replacement batteries until late March to early April in the USA and other some regions, as per a leaked internal document obtained by MacRumors.

Flipkart is also providing users with a cashback-cum-EMI offer in partnership with ICICI Bank. Of course, the exchange price discount will depend on the phone that is being traded in for the iPhone 7 Plus.

Similar offers are available on iPhone X having 256 GB which is priced at Rs 1,02,000.

Flipkart is giving up to Rs 8000 cash back on EMI transactions made through ICICI credit cards.

Interestingly the iPhone 6s hasn't received any discount and is still listed at its usual price of Rs 34,999.

Also, cashback offers like Rs 5000 off on usage of ICICI Bank credit card, 5% off on Axis Bank Buzz credit card and Rs 18,000 exchange offer is available. Additionally, customers can also get up to Rs 18,000 off on exchange.

There has been a lot of coverage about Apple's decision to intentionally slow down iPhones with old batteries over the past week.

Moving to discounts, Apple iPhone 8's 64GB variant is available at Rs 54,999 during the Apple Week, down from the original price of Rs 64,000. The iPhone 7 is also available at a discounted price of Rs 42,999 from its original Rs 49,000.

Apple's iPhone SE has been available with offers for quite some time now. As for the iPhone 6s, it has a discounted price of Rs 34,999 but is now unavailable with this offer.

On the other hand, iPhone 8 Plus having 64GB variant has 8% off on them and is priced at Rs 66,499 on Flipkart from previous market price of Rs 73,000. Currently, this variant is priced at Rs 89,000 with one-year guarantee on Flipkart. On other days, it is available at Rs 49,999 on Flipkart. The cashback is Rs 8,000 on ICICI Bank EMI transactions and it effectively brings the price to Rs 46,490 for the laptop, which is a great deal. Lastly, the iPhone 6s Plus, for the 32GB variant receives a discount of 22 percent and is now available at Rs 37,999.

Apple Watch Series 3 does not have any discounts as such, but as mentioned before, all the series including Series 1 are eligible for Rs 2,500 cashback as part of the ICICI Bank EMI transaction offer.
