The only legitimately unappetizing spec mentioned is Android Nougat, which HTC is likely launching it with to avoid being obligated to include Project Treble.

As per earlier reports, HTC U11 EYEs is said to feature a 6-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2160 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. There are minimal borders along the sides, but quite a significant bezel on the top and bottom.

HTC U11 EYEs Launch Expected January 15; Price and Specifications Leak Alongside

The HTC U11 EYEs is expected to be a mid-range smartphone that will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. As usual, there are two RAM and storage configurations of 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.

This new smartphone of HTC is having IP67 certification to be water and dust-resistant. Blass in his tweet also reveals the the U11 EYEs will be available in Black, Silver and Red colour options. We had covered the report in early December of past year when the device was rumored to have great selfie cameras onboard. From the leaked shots, we can see that the phone will sport a single camera on the back, with a fingerprint sensor dimple placed just below it.

Rumors have it that HTC could also reveal another, more powerful variant of the U11 EYEs at the event. The phone will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. Even the EYEs device seems to come with a dual lens front facing camera which will justify the Eye branding. Moreover, it is also expected that one more version of the phone will launch along with it.
