Packers Announce Coaching Changes

McAdoo was the Packers' tight ends coach from 2006, before moving on to the quarterbacks in 2012. And while team president Mark Murphy was emphatic this week that McCarthy would be the coach, there's more to it than just a signed paper and some news conference jibber-jabber.

Joe Philbin, the assistant head coach with the Indianapolis Colts, could be a candidate to return to Green Bay. Long-time defensive coordinator Dom Capers is gone.

The Green Bay Packers will likely hire from within their organization to replace former general manager Ted Thompson, who was relieved of those duties earlier this week. Reports said inside linebackers coach Scott McCurley and defensive line coach Mike Trgovac were also let go.

"This is a special place and we've had some success along the way, but it's the relationships that I value most", he said in a statement.

As for 2017, coach Mike McCarthy says Hundley wasn't prepared. On a personal note, Ted's work ethic, humility and loyalty are almost unparalleled, and it has been one of the great honors of my life to work beside him.

All told, that's an astonishing amount of change for a franchise that'd made eight straight trips to the postseason, reached four NFC Championship Games and hasn't seen a staff shakeup even close to this since it last missed the playoffs in 2008 - as well as one with a two-time NFL MVP in the prime of his quarterbacking career. "We had a hell of a partnership for 12 years".

Celine Dion's Heart Will Go On Bangkok Stage
Dion took to Twitter on Friday morning to announce the tour, as well as the tour dates being posted on her official website . Dion was originally scheduled to perform in Manila in November 2014, but cancelled because of her husband's failing health.

"But this is my professional responsibility, it's in my job description and I have to do what I feel gives the Green Bay Packers the best opportunity to win - to win it all in 2018". He'll remain with the team as senior adviser of football operations.

Regardless of the coaching staff changes, there will be a lot of pressure on the new general manager.

The Green Bay Packers have made changes to their coaching staff that were not limited to just the defense.

Who do you think should take over as the new offensive coordinator? Injuries sapped depth the last two seasons at the cornerback position, forcing younger players who may not have been ready for bigger roles to step up.

McCarthy said the Packers "need to have the most competitive roster" in the league.
