Trump mocked for not fully singing National Anthem

He berates those who kneel for it, but does the US President even know Star Spangled Banner?

President Donald Trump attended the NCAA College Football Playoff championship game on Monday night in Atlanta, only to be welcomed with a mixture of boos and cheers, and accused nationwide of either forgetting or not knowing the words to the national anthem.

Some on social media questioned if the United States president even knows the words to America's song.

Donald Trump was at a college football game for a rendition of the national anthem Monday.

Footage showed Trump mouthing the wrong words as a choir of four harmonised, "at the twilight's last gleaming", and during other segments of The Star-Spangled Banner.

"Trump being down on the field, walking out with the troops, singing along with the National Anthem with such pride, is the very definition of Pro-America".

Overwatch League now has an official app
This inaugural season of the Overwatch League might be worth watching, though, as there's $3.5 million at stake. There have always been murmurs that Twitch would be the chosen destination and so it's the case.

It's also worth pointing out that Trump tweeted about the importance of the national anthem earlier today, saying that he wants our flag respected and "we want our NATIONAL ANTHEM respected also!"

Trump has been criticizing National Football League players for taking a knee during the national anthem for several months.

Journalist Michael Wolff's new book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House claimed Mr Trump has failed to recognise old friends and regularly repeated stories "word-for-word". During a rally in Nashville, Tennessee, the president spoke of the changes to the USA tax code in the new Republican tax law and said that the attendees should, in fact, give him a standing ovation.

Robert Murphy observed: "I do not think that Pres Trump not knowing the words to the #NationalAnthem is a sign that he is unpatriotic".

Donald Trump has made a big deal about athletes standing for the National Anthem, and on Monday he chose to show them what he expects from them.

The president has been extremely vocal in urging respect for the U.S. national anthem. "And we love our people, we love our anthem".
