WWE's Paige May Have To Retire As An In-Ring Wrestler

The belief at the time was that she had suffered a stinger, but further testing led to WWE's decision to not clear her for return as an in-ring performer.

PWInsider.com reports that Paige will likely be written off of television as an in-ring competitor shortly, and they add that she was likely given the news by WWE at a recent Raw. It is believed Paige was given the news at the Raw taping this past Monday.

If you recall, just last month at a live event in Long Island, she was in a six-woman tag match that needed to be called off. Paige took a hard kick to the back from Banks that she wasn't ready for and it stunned her.

Multiple sources said that the leader of Absolution is likely to be moved to a non-physical role with the company moving forward following the results of her latest medical tests. This is quite sad because this year's PPV is the first time that the women are getting their own Royal Rumble match.

With Boris Johnson , David Davis and Philip Hammond untouched, Theresa May has managed to effect a deft intra-party exercise. In a letter to the prime minister, Brokenshire said he had a small lesion on the lung which required surgery.

Paige was considered one of WWE's top women's wrestlers since her days from NXT.

Paige's blossoming WWE career may be over following an injury the superstar suffered on December 28 during a live event match in Uniondale, New York.

However, since 2016 she's been involved in multiple drug violations that kept her out of action for a long period of time and had a major neck injury that needed surgery. WWE management likes her and is likely to continue to involve her somehow. With her Divas championship win, she was also the youngest woman to hold the belt at 21 years of age. She's been on Total Divas, and she could even end up in a coaching position or another role in NXT.

Of course, The Rock is producing WWE Studios' forthcoming film "Fighting With My Family", which will be released theatrically September 14th.
