Asus Zenfone 5 Lite gets showcased via Leaked promotional posters

Now, we are having a look at yet another smartphone from ASUS that has surfaced online - it's the ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite. The latest Asus Zenfone 5 Lite leak comes in the form of a live image shared by an Instagram user who has been teasing the arrival of the device.

According to reports, the dual camera setup on this smartphone will like be the one found on LG's flagships(wide angle lens). The website suggests the smartphone to feature a 5.7-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and dual rear cameras. A new leak coming from Chinese media says that the new Zenfone 5 lineup consists of the standard Zenfone 5, flagship Zenfone 5z and an entry-level Max variant called Zenfone Max Pro (M1).

As per Evan's earlier info, the Zenfone 5 Lite will have a new 18:9 display with Full HD+ resolution.

On the rear, the ASUS Zenfone 5 continues its imitation of the iPhone X with the design of the dual rear cameras. Although the phone will come with a notch like the iPhone X's, it won't feature a facial recognition system, rather, the notch will only house the selfie camera, earpiece and other sensors.

Take a look at the press renders and you will notice that there is a Dual LED flash on the back of the phone supporting the dual cameras, and a fingerprint sensor as well is present and the look of the back of the device is similar to that of the Honor 6x.

Asus seems to be gearing up to showcase it's Zenfone 5 range of smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 later this month. The 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C can also be spotted. This could be the base Asus Zenfone 5 model. Qualcomm is also expected to showcase the Snapdragon 670 at MWC 2018, so Asus might be the first manufacturer to incorporate the mid-range processor on its smartphone.
