Candidates belongs to Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Meghalaya states not require the Aadhar Card to Apply for the NEET examination. A message on the website said that the page will be made available soon. The last date for successful payment of online fee is March 10, 2018 till 11.50pm.

Some of the unverified reports suggested that the NEET UG 2018 online application forms will be available from February 8, 2018.

For NRIs, Aadhaar or Passport Number is required for NEET (UG), 2018 application process. Yearly a huge number of candidates are going to appear for the test. Candidates compete to get admission into various medical courses such as MBBS/BDS in Medical & Dental Colleges with the approval of Medical courses of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The NEET 2018 examination would be conducted in English, Hindi and eight other regional languages.

Many students even took the medium of social media to show their displeasure towards the delay as in the previous year the application form was released in January. The candidates can check the official notification and information bulletin from the official website. Only AIIMS & JIPMER are exempted from NEET and the AIIMS entrance exam was recently notified.

NEET (UG) paper will comprise of 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).

Age limit: The candidate must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31, 2018, i.e. the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S./B.D.S. Course.

As per Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, OBC & SC/ST Candidates will get age relaxation up to 5 years. For candidates in the PwD category the same shall be 45% in aggregate. The candidates belonging to these states shall also be eligible for 15% all India quota seats.
