Theresa May defends her leadership, declares she is 'not a quitter'

According to reports from the BBC, the Treasury contributed to the document, but sources have claimed it is part of a much wider range of work going on in Whitehall, stating, "An early draft of this next stage of analysis has looked at different off-the-shelf arrangements that now exist as well as other external estimates".

"Yes, we want to get Brexit right and we are working on that, but we also alongside that are working on the key issues that matter to people on a day-to-day basis".

Shadow Brexit Secretary Sir Keir Starmer plans to use the same parliamentary mechanism which a year ago forced Theresa May to hand over an earlier Brexit analysis to make her publish the leaked impact assessment.

But that appeared to contradict what May told journalists during her trip to China just hours earlier - when she warned that releasing the "very preliminary" analysis could "prejudice our negotiating position".

Mr Osborne said: "We now face a series of choices about the kind of Brexit we want and we have a much clearer idea of the consequences".

The paper is titled EU Exit Analysis - Cross Whitehall Briefing and suggests every part of the United Kingdom economy will suffer.

"When we agreed the citizens' rights deal in December, we did so on the basis that people who had come to the United Kingdom when we were a member of the European Union had set up certain expectations".

The United States became the fourth country to investigate the slowdown, after France, Italy and South Korea . These at will be contained in a programmer release next month along with a person launch this Spring.

Speaking to journalists on the plane before arriving in China to promote British trade overseas, the embattled prime minister, May said "there is a long-term job to be done" and added she was "serving my country and my party".

Theresa May has insisted that she is not quitting.

The report, revealed by the news website Buzzfeed and which suggests the least harm would be done by remaining in the single market, was dismissed by the government and leading Brexiteers as "incomplete" and an attempt to "undermine" Brexit but will be a boost to those campaigning for a "softer" Brexit. "No one voted to make themselves or their families worse off".

"What we have seen is guidelines in relation to the negotiations on the implementation period that are coming up", May said.

Mrs May has come under fire in recent days from several factions within her own Conservative Party. By contrast, United Kingdom exports to the European Union that year were worth 236 billion pounds, making up 43 percent of all the country's exports.

The British prime minister will hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday.

May met Premier Li Keqiang on Wednesday, and they agreed on a new trade and investment review, which is seen as a stepping stone for a future trade agreement, according to Britain's Press Association news agency.
