'Hearthstone' The Witchwood Expansion Announced - Screens & Trailer

Hearthstone's next expansion, The Witchwood, has been announced. You can see current revealed cards here. They all had a good laugh about it later. Themed around the haunted city of Gilneas, players will be able to acquire 135 brand new cards in order to fight off the spirits of the Witchwood. Press and members of the community will begin revealing cards starting the same day!

Deceptively simple in design but epically engaging, Hearthstone will be instantly accessible to players regardless of their familiarity with Warcraft or collectible card games.

Something spooky is stirring in the heart of The Witchwood, the next expansion for Blizzard's digital card game Hearthstone.

The airline tweeted that its systems were back online and that some flight delays were expected as a result shortly after 1 p.m. A similar message was posted on the carrier's official Facebook page an hour later.

Dark magic has twisted the creatures of the forest and set them loose upon the Gilnean capital in Azeroth, but King Genn Greymane and his lycanthropic subjects won't make for easy prey.

The video wraps up with a tease for a Hagatha card-a new hero card, quite possibly, but there appear to be at least a couple of Hagathas in the WoW mythos-Hagatha Moorehead, Matron Hagatha-and neither of them look like the character on the card. There are also new Worgen cards - my personal favorite - which will swap their health and attack values each turn, and minions that reward you for building a deck using only cards that have either an even or odd cost. Similar to the Dungeon Run mode from Kobolds & Catacombs, players will defeat bosses and collect their bounties to build a deck that will keep them alive as they venture deeper and deeper into The Witchwood. "Each time, it'll add a ghostly copy of the card back to your hand that disappears at the end of your turn". "Rush" on the other hand allows minions to attack the moment an enemy minion enters the battlefield. You'll be able to select four new heroes to join your crusade, each with special powers and "cards that create completely new playstyles and strategies".

Now for the important bit; The Witchwood is available for preorder right now over on Blizzard's official site, and if you pick up 50 packs, you get an extra 20 for free.
