'Jeopardy!' Contestant Hides His Famous Past, But Viewers Catch On

Themmen described himself as an "entrepreneur" and "avid backpacker".

Themmen has appeared on several food programs since his role in the film when he was 11 years old.

The Internet was not fooled!

If you caught Wednesday's episode of "Jeopardy!" and thought one of the contestants looked vaguely familiar, you weren't wrong: None other than Mike Teavee - a.k.a. actor Paris Themmen - from the classic flick "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" appeared on the program. "Like legit it's the actor", one fan tweeted.

Another asked in all caps, "SO ARE WE JUST GUNNA ACT LIKE THAT ISNT MIKE TV FROM WILLY WONKA ON #JEOPARDY RIGHT NOW?!"

It's not clear why Themmen kept his past under wraps on the quiz show-he's happily reminisced about his Willy Wonka days before.

They are the only threats to score from outside, and Battle is the only one who doesn't look to pass or drive before firing. Arizona State won its first 12 - beating No. 1 seeds Xavier and Kansas along the way - and went 8-11 the rest of the way.

Sure, traveling is cool, but nothing about Mike Teevee's stylish cowboy hat?

Meanwhile, a user couldn't help but tweet the obvious: "Mike TeeVee is. on TV!"

Sadly, Themmen won't be back.

On Jeopardy!, Themmen came in second, which may not quite be a happily ever after, but it's certainly better than young Mike's shrunken fate.

In 2014, Paris reunited with his "Willy Wonka" castmates at The Hollywood Show in L.A. Check out the pic! Paris starred in the original film along with Peter Ostrum (who played Charlie Bucket), Michael Bollner (Augustus Gloop), Julie Dawn Cole (Veruca Salt) and Denise Nickerson (Violet Beauregarde).
