Many NC hospitals have lifted flu restrictions

Two of the flu-related deaths for the week ending March 10 were reported in Wake County.

Hospitals say flu rates in the area have been declining for several weeks, but Marlon Hunter, Director of Forsyth County Public Health, says people shouldn't let their guard down. They say a total of 8,117 flu positive laboratory tests have been reported during this season.

It is not too late in the season to get a flu shot. There has been more than 200 flu deaths in SC.
