Tillerson's Exit Could Doom the Iran Nuclear Deal

The US-E3 talks dominated Trump's conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House last week.

Trump sees three defects in the deal: its failure to address Iran's ballistic missile program; the terms under which global inspectors can visit suspect Iranian nuclear sites; and "sunset" clauses under which limits on the Iranian nuclear program start to expire after 10 years.

"Though these measures constitute a significant change in our sanctions posture, comprehensive non-nuclear-related sanctions with respect to Iran remain in place", President Trump insisted. If no consensus is reached by that date, Trump is expected to withdraw the USA from the deal.

"The officials say Trump told Netanyahu that until now the three European powers only proposed "cosmetic changes" that he doesn't find satisfactory".

In a commentary published by Reuters on Monday, it is said that if the us withdraws from the 2015 nuclear deal, Europe could work with other worldwide powers to keep the agreement alive.

Trump delivered an ultimatum to the European powers on January 12, saying they must agree to "fix the awful flaws of the Iran nuclear deal" or he would refuse to extend USA sanctions relief on Iran.

A five-time Pro Bowler, Graham picked Aaron Rodgers and the Packers over a reunion with Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints . NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, was quick to point out a new era in Green Bay has begun with their interest in Graham.

The crux of the July 2015 pact between Iran and six major powers - Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the United States - was that Iran would restrict its nuclear program in return for relief from sanctions that have crippled its economy.

United States officials will pick up discussions with their European Union counterparts about the fate of the Iran nuclear deal.

US military commanders and intelligence officers mostly view the Iran deal, officially referred to as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), as a useful - if imperfect - check on Tehran's nuclear ambitions.

President Trump has opposed the deal from the start, and is demanding broad changes to the already negotiated pact.

"The North Koreans will wonder about whether one can have credible negotiations with the United States", said a former senior USA official. Under that scenario, the United States - and Israel - may decide to take military action to prevent Iran from obtaining the bomb or at least slow down a bid for nuclear-tipped missiles. That stance was echoed Tuesday by the USA general who heads the US military command responsible for the Middle East and Central Asia.

"The JCPOA addresses one of the principal threats that we deal with from Iran, so if the JCPOA goes away then we will have to have another way to deal with their nuclear weapons program", Votel said, according to Reuters.
