Trey Burton cashes in with NFC team

NFL Network first reported the deal.

According to Garafolo, the deal is worth $32 million over four years.

Due largely to the presence of veteran tight ends Zach Ertz and Brent Celek, Burton was only on the field for 27 percent of the offensive snaps, but he made the most of his opportunities, hauling in 23 passes for 248 yards and five touchdowns in 2017. Robinson has 202 catches for 2,848 yards and 22 touchdowns in 43 games in Jacksonville.

Just a few hours after landing wide receiver Allen Robinson, the Bears decided they needed to upgrade the tight end position, which was odd considering they spent a second-round pick on Adam Shaheen just past year. Without Burton's contributions, though, Philadelphia might not have been in the proper situation.

The Winter Paralympics were officially opened at a ceremony in Pyeongchang , South Korea on Friday. He told the Paralympians to keep fighting, play fair, have fun, and keep pushing their limits.

First up was the addition of Allen Robinson, with the Bears agreeing to terms with the young wide receiver on a pricey but not prohibitive three-year contract.

He'll also find himself on Super Bowl highlight reels for years to come after throwing a touchdown pass to Eagles quarterback Nick Foles on a perfectly executed trick play during the team's 41-33 championship triumph over the New England Patriots.

Burton, 26, was signed by the Eagles as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2014.

The dual tight end thing is interesting: Shaheen was a pretty high draft pick for Chicago past year and considered a "Baby Gronk" type.
