Facebook Stories to get AR drawings and Boomerangs in the near future

Those are "Boomerang" for videos, and 3D drawing, which can be used in both videos and pictures. Additionally, Facebook Stories will allow users to create doodles that can intelligently identify what's in the camera frame and virtually interact with them even as users move the camera. People can soon draw scribbles before or during recording and then move the camera around to see the markings stay in place.

The 3D drawing feature, as what the company calls it, allows users make doodles on the screen and combine the drawings with the real world. Users will then be able to wrap around their scribbles around the objects, but the technology is still far from flawless. The tool, according to Josh Constine, is already rolling out to the Facebook Camera. It will not work, for example, in low light conditions and if the software is unsure of the object. However, Facebook Stories has been slow to take off and the company has tried to boost usage by making it available to companies and by offering other enhancements.

The report also pointed out that AR drawing will be known as "3D drawing" and will roll out for Facebook users in coming weeks.

United Kingdom joins Syria air strikes in response to chemical attack
The British Prime Minister detailed "limited and targeted strikes" on chemical weapons facilities in Syria. Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon also said the strikes risked "dangerous escalation".

For the uninformed, Boomerang is a feature that loops videos back and forwards (hence the name) and have proven very popular with users of Instagram.

"The way people share and connect is changing; it's quickly becoming more real-time and visual". However, the GIFs created using the earlier tool restarted from the beginning, creating a slightly jarring effect; with the new tool, which has seen huge success on photo sharing platform Instagram, users can now create seamless GIFs on Facebook Stories as well. Now there is also a new AR feature to help in the same.
