Manchester City Clinches Premier League Title

Manchester City's Spanish manager Pep Guardiola shouts instructions to his players from the touchline during the English Premier League football match between Manchester City and Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, north west England, on April 7, 2018.

Manchester City were crowned Premier League champions after Manchester United's surprising home defeat to West Brom on Sunday.

City will now be looking to break the Premier League points record in their remaining five fixtures.

By completing the job after 33 games, City have emulated the achievement of United, who secured the crown with the same number of matches to spare in 2001.

In the tune of 'If you're happy and you know it (!?)' Man City's official partner produced a video featuring City players and fans celebrating their title win.

But to the surprise of many football pundits and lovers, Manchester United were beaten at home as Manchester City dethroned Chelsea as EPL Champions. My favourite title is still the first one - it was special.

City's captain Vincent Kompany told Sky Sports: "You can't describe the feeling".

Alleged chemical attack in Syria staged by UK, Russia says
The Russian military said its chemical experts visited Douma shortly after the alleged attack and found no trace of chemical agents in ground samples.

"You want to hold onto this feeling now". It is hard to speak about Manchester City for me, but what Pep Guardiola has done is fantastic; to win the title with the football he plays is great. "Manchester City, we won it for you" chanted West Brom fans at full-time as United supporters began jeering in frustration at their side gift-wrapping the title for City. "That has happened. We have to try to focus on our games". "Because you can't take them for granted". Sometimes you have to do these sort of things to believe 'wow, we are good too, like the others'.

"Well, it differs in the fact that we were consistent for the whole season", he admitted.

Tottenham's record of 31 wins in a top-flight season.

"I've never been able to retain the title and I wanna see if this team's got it to carry on and be even more successful".

But Jose Mourinho's men still ended up handing the trophy to City with a lacklustre display against bottom of the table Albion, who had won only three times in the league this season before this weekend. I'm sure they are differences to how we play today compared to Bayern and Barcelona, we survive and live by the strength of the team.

Thierry Henry: I am not surprised with what Pep has done in this league and past year, I was one of the people saying stop having a go at the man because that's how he plays.
