OnePlus 6 design revealed by the company, to feature dual-rear camera

OnePlus has tweeted the image of the OnePlus on its official Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, the company has already discontinued the OnePlus 5T in several markets globally, which only suggests the company is planning an early release of the OnePlus 6. Since the launch of Alert Slider in 2015, all the OnePlus devices bear the Alert Slider on the left. On the OnePlus 6, however, the alert slider will serve an additional function. While the feature has not been detailed yet, it looks like users will be able to adjust the focus when using the camera with the help of the alert slider. Conventional 18:9 displays make for taller devices, and a leaked image suggests that OnePlus will compensate for this on the upcoming smartphone.

Lastly, the OnePlus 6 won't have the iPhone like antennae bands on the top and bottom.

In a previous post by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau on OnePlus Community Forum, the executive claimed the company's upcoming flagship will have the speed that users need. The OnePlus 6 will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. It is said to deliver a burdenless experience to the users. Which is why OnePlus has a specialized team called Team FSE (Fast, Stable, Efficient) within the R&D team that works on maximizing the power of OnePlus flagship devices.

For now, this brief comparison between the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 5T is based on the rumored specifications of the former. The 20 MP plus the 16MP rear dual camera is available in between the center instead of the left upper corner. Although the side profile leaves a lot to the imagination, it does hint that the OnePlus 6 would be slightly longer and slightly wider than the OnePlus 5T. However, it is still unclear that whether the model will come with 6GB RAM variation offering lesser storage or not similar to OnePlus 5T. The manufacturer has also confirmed that for the first time they will be launching the 256GB variant of the smartphone.
