Pacers' Victor Oladipo Fueled By Dan Gilbert Slight

CLEVELAND, OH-The Indiana Pacers raced out to a big lead and ended up taking the series lead against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 98-80 rout of Cleveland Sunday afternoon. Victor Oladipo had his fingerprints all over this game as he drained six threes to lead the team with 32 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals. The Pacers' starting center, Myles Turner, was the scored the second most points on the Pacers.

A three-pointer by J.R. Smith from the right side with 3:37 left in the third quarter gave the Cavaliers a temporary spark and cut the in lead to 69-53. "I expect the same thing in Wednesday's game".

The Pacers shot 45.6 percent from the field and drained 11 of their 28 three point attempts in the contest. James' first official shot came with 1:24 left in the opening period - an errant 3. It was the first time in LeBron's career that he lost the first game of the playoffs. The Cavaliers are 16-35-1 ATS in their last 52 home games and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games overall.

The Cavs coughed up 20 points off 17 turnovers and was 8-of-34 from 3-point range.

For the past seven years, a LeBron James led team has been in the NBA Finals and everybody fully expected it to happen once this year despite the roster overhaul and struggles during the regular season for the Cavs.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers were in solid form themselves as they had won six of their last eight regular season games but they just didn't come out with that sense of urgency and found themselves trailing by 20 points in the blink of an eye.

Wholesale Inflation stands at 2.47% in March; manufacturing index rises
Wholesale prices climbed 2.47 percent year-over-year in March, nearly in line with February's 2.48 percent increase. However, the March 2018 inflation is higher than 3.89 per cent recorded in the same month a year ago .

"I've always stayed even-keeled with the postseason", James said post-game, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

The slights are nothing new to the Pacers, nor their star player, Victor Oladipo, who is still fueled by comments Cavs' owner, Dan Gilbert made several months ago. "They just played inspired basketball and they just took advantage of everything we wanted to try and do".

With his seventh field goal of the night James passed Michael Jordan for the most postseason field goals in league history, and now resides in second place with 2,189 scores in the playoffs. Cleveland was down 19 after the opening quarter and despite their best efforts, couldn't throw a serious scare into IN the rest of the way. If we make them, we make them. "They (the Pacers) going to push the ball at any and every opportunity they got and we have to be ready for that attack". So, today was definitely a good test for some of our younger guys and like I said, I think they'll be a lot better especially in Game 2."And not just them", James continued. We're fully aware of his team, and we realize it's not going to be easy, but that doesn't mean we're just going to come in here and just fold. "I think it's important that we get off to a good start, as we did last night, and not allow them to run us out of the building early".

The "Lance vs. LeBron" storyline is an old favorite for both the local and national media.

"Jeff Green, it might have been the worst performance of his career and he's been in the league a while".
