Aliens may well exist in a parallel universe, new studies find

A team of scientists from the United Kingdom and Australia made this finding while studying "dark energy" - the mysterious force accelerating the expansion of the universe.

Earth may be just one planet in an extensive "multiverse" of life, claims new research published this week. Scientists have previously thought that such parallel universes, if they exist, would have to meet an extremely strict set of criteria to allow for the formation of stars, galaxies and life-fostering planets like those seen in our own universe.

"For many physicists, the unexplained but seemingly special amount of dark energy in our Universe is a frustrating puzzle,"Jaime Salcido, a postgraduate student from Durham University, said in a press release".

By adding more of it (up to a few hundred times the amount observed in our universe), the global team of cosmologists were able to simulate its "modest impact" on star and planet formation.

They utilized huge computer system simulations to recommend that, if other universes exists, they might be just as most likely to harbor life. And they find out that Dark energy plays an important role to form such conditions. "So why such a paltry amount of dark energy in our universe?" The key, researchers said, is dark energy-a mysterious "force" accelerating the expansion of the cosmos.

Experts are now looking to come up with a new physics law which could explain the property of the universe. The simulations were processed under the EAGLE (Evolution and Assembly of Galaxies and their Environments) project, one of the most pragmatic simulations of the observed Universe. These universes would be populated with Earthlike planets, societies, and perhaps even alien life that is quite like ourselves. This is where the existence of alien life in other universes is also raised.

The search for alien life has always been a priority for many scientists and enthusiasts alike, and the fact that this alien life is quite likely to exist outside of our universe is comforting in a way. Science was generally convinced that the energy had to be present in very particular quantities in order to support life.but the simulation seems to prove that that's not entirely true.
