Battlefield V Confirmed For May 23 Reveal

EA has officially confirmed that the next Battlefield is indeed Battlefield V. The Battlefield blog post states that the head of DICE Stockholm, senior producer, creative director, and design director of the game will come in and fill viewers in on their vision. EA is streaming a reveal event on Wednesday, May 23 at 1:00pm Pacific with The Daily Show's Trevor Noah handling hosting duties. The event is still scheduled for May 23rd at 1 PM EST and will be livestreamed on YouTube, Twitch, and Mixer.

Battlefield V is now without an official release date, and has yet to be announced for specific platforms.

Expect to see a lot more about Battlefield 2018 at E3 2018 next month.

Today, the Battlefield Twitter account linked to the recently discovered Battlefield website which has now been updated with confirmation of the Battlefield 5 reveal. The site now confirms that the name of the next game from EA will indeed be Battlefield V while listing some of what'll be included in May 23's livestream.

"This will be a deep and fully-featured shooter and ongoing service that will evolve with major new experiences for our community, beginning right from launch".
