Dachshunds Maul Woman to Death in Unusual Attack

A mum-of-two has been mauled to death by a pack of seven tiny sausage dogs, according to reports.

Carter County Sheriff Chris Bryant says 52-year-old Tracy Garcia was killed last week near her home outside Ardmore, about 90 miles (145 kilometers) south of Oklahoma City.

Not one of the seven dogs weighed more than forty pounds.

When cops arrived at the grisly scene, they say they were forced to shoot one of the animals dead after it charged at them, KXII reports. Six of the dogs are believed to be standard dachshund and terrier mixes, and one of the dogs was a standard dachshund border collie mix.

Kroger , the largest US supermarket chain by revenue, operates about 2,780 supermarkets in the USA and has some 443,000 employees. The companies will find three locations for new warehouses this year and said they would find locations for a total.

"If there was any possible issue of them biting someone else then it would've been (done) but the dogs are deceased as well as the victim so there's just no reason to go spend the thousands and thousands of dollars", Dinwiddle said. "It did charge our deputies and to protect our deputies, as well as the medical personnel, we did have to put down a dog". "This is just a bad deal all the way around".

Six of the dogs were about 1 year old and the seventh was about 3 years old and possibly the pack's mother.

The dogs were all dachshund mixes, according to Ardmore Animal Shelter's euthanasia technician Amanda Dinwiddie. "They are very covered, you can tell they have been living out in the woods". However, KXII reported that vet hospital officials have decided that the dogs won't be tested.

Police are still investigating the attack. The woman later died of her injuries.
