Eagles' Jay Ajayi Sued For Allegedly Trashing Mansion After Super Bowl

Philadelphia Eagles running back Jay Ajayi celebrates after winning the NFL Super Bowl 52 football game against the New England Patriots, Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, in Minneapolis.

According to a report by TMZ, former Boise State great and current Philadelphia Eagles running back Jay Ajayi has been sued for $25,000 by a person whose Los Angeles mansion reportedly was damaged in a handful of February parties.

And now he's facing a $25,000 lawsuit that he claims is bogus, the gossip site reported. According to TMZ Sports, Ajayi and his friend were specifically told by the owner of the place that parties were not allowed.

Ajayi allegedly ignored that request and threw three of them.

We deserve to be there, so we need to show that, be courageous and do our thing. It's for us like a little pre-season to the game.

TMZ reports that the owners of a swanky L.A. pad say Ajayi and his friends broke their table and scratched their floors back in February - but Ajayi denies ever throwing any parties at the property.

The owner describes the incident as battery - and said he had to call local security to remove the National Football League star from the property.

Ajayi denied the accusations through a representative, saying Ajayi and his group actually left the house earlier than the planned five days, but still paid the full price for the rental.

Eagles running back Jay Ajayi really hit the jackpot a year ago when the God-awful Miami Dolphins traded him to Philadelphia in the midst of what became a Super Bowl-winning season. He averaged 5.8 years per carry in seven regular-season games.
