PGA Tour pro Lucas Glover's wife charged with domestic battery

In a police report obtained by TMZ, Lucas Glover, victor of the 2009 PGA U.S. Open, was attacked along with his mother by his wife Krista.

Krista Glover, the wife of the surprise 2009 US Open victor, was arrested at a house where the couple was staying during the tournament, following an altercation with her husband.

"On May 12, my wife and mother were involved in an argument to which the police were called", Glover tweeted in a statement.

Lucas told deputies Krista gets violent every time he doesn't play well in a major PGA tournament, according to the incident report. Deputies also noted lacerations on the arms of both Lucas and his mother, Hershey Glover, who also had blood on her clothes.

Krista also allegedly kicked the door of the police auto upon her arrest, separating the door from its frame.

Once Glover was in the auto, the report says she "began screaming while forcefully kicking the rear driver's side door ... causing the door to visibly separate from the cell of the door frame".

Lucas Glover put out a statement on Twitter revealing what happened.

Police reportedly saw abrasions and other injuries on Hershey Glover when they arrived to arrest Krista Glover. The altercation allegedly occurred in front of their children.

When Lucas' mother was interviewed, she told deputies she tried to stop the argument between husband and wife, but Krista turned against her and hit her repeatedly.

After Krista was arrested, Lucas allegedly started to change his previous statement, as well as Krista's dad, who also was at the scene, according to the report. She allegedly stiffened up her body and wrapped her legs around the door to make the task hard. Authorities were kind enough to loosen her handcuffs in the auto as they were transporting her, which turned out to be a awful idea because she attempted to flee their custody. Two lawmen were able to re-handcuff her.

"Wait till the tour (PGA) hears about this", she yelled at the deputies, according to the report. "Everyone is fine." He went on to say he hopes his wife is cleared of all charges. 'You will lose your job. "Wait til I talk to the judge, you will be [expletive] fired over this".

While trying to put her in the auto, Krista allegedly wrapped her legs and feet around the door and frame of the auto, preventing the lower half of her body from getting into the vehicle.
